Bumper Defenders:
I just bought a new Honda Accord, and I work in Manhattan, so I parallel park on the street everyday instead of spending double the money on parking in a garage. Dear Bumper Defenders:
I own a 2005 Acura TL and I have a monthly parking spot in a garage in New York. I picked up my car from the garage after work, and just as I was about to get in, I noticed a HUGE scuff in the paint across the entire front bumper. I was furious, and of course the garage claims no liability for damage to your car (which I later found out is not true at all).

So I took my car to 4 different garages, 2 in New York and 2 in New Jersey (where I live), and the estimates ranged from $750 to $1300 just to repaint (not replace) my bumper. That is outrageous.

Regardless, I paid the money and decided to take a proactive step in preventing any further scratches and scuffs on my bumpers. Thank you soooo much! My senior year in high school my parents gave me a new Toyota Camry and as I’m sure you know, teenagers aren’t exactly the most cautious drivers. My parents forbid me from driving to school until I found something to protect the bumpers of my car.
